Director: Anna Morris
Phone Number: 772-559-1725
Ms. Anna is a graduate of the University of Tampa. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts. Before graduating Anna participated in a musical at UT almost every semester and performed with different ensembles throughout each year as well. After graduation Anna performed at Busch Gardens in two different shows during Christmas Town. You can now see Anna in performances at local community theatres throughout the Tampa Bay area.
While performing has been the focus for her in school, teaching has always been something she wanted to do. She fell in love with performing at a children’s theatre in her small hometown of Vero Beach, FL and has always wanted to bring that experience she had as a kid to others. When the opportunity presented itself to teach with ShiningStars she couldn’t say no! Anna is so excited to be a part of the ShiningStars team and hopes to inspire her students everyday.
Shining Stars Instructor/Hiring and Training Manager: Michelle Johnson
Ms. Michelle is a graduate of Ridgewood High School. Born and raised in Port Richey, Florida, she always dreamed of teaching, and had an interest in drama at a young age. She spent 15 years working in a high-end customer service environment, and she still today continues work as a make-up artist. She and her husband Kevin love spending time in the Florida sun with their two sons, Jase and Maddox.
Michelle’s career path took a turn with the birth of her boys. After starting them in HappyFeet Soccer, she learned about the ShiningStars program, and became an instructor in January of 2017. Since then, she has found a passion in working with children. As a mother herself, she has a different and interesting perspective of the program and sees the results on both ends. After watching her own kids grow and learn through our monthly curriculum, she is thrilled to get to give that same joy to parents everywhere by inspiring her students to be bold, fearless, and free!
